Event: Abacela Chef-Maker Dinner Series
Abacela Vineyards & Winery, located in the heart of Southern Oregon’s beautiful, rolling hill Umpqua Valley, is having a Chef-Maker Dinner on October 18, 2012. The Chef-Maker Dinner is part of a series of dinners where Abacela handpicks a northwest chef to join them in their beautiful Vine and Wine Center for a fabulous evening of wine and food.
Chef Ricardo Segura, owner and chef of Patanegra Restaurant in Portland, OR, is known for, “bringing his Spanish roots and Iberian flavors to the Portland dining scene while using fresh, seasonal, local products to produce his authentic dishes.”
I can imagine this is going to be a great event, given that Abacela offers some incredible Spanish varietals, like their 2010 Albariño; in fact, I’ve featured this beauty of a wine in three previous articles: The Amazing Abacela, Pair This: Chop Salad with Corn, Snap Peas and Bacon with Abacela Albariño and Abacela Albariño 2010. Yes, I’m a fan.
