My annual sparkling wine of choice for New Year’s Eve: Domain Meriwether’s NV Celebration Cuvee Brut. Not only does it boast a bright, festive label and sport a name that is perfect for the holidays, but it’s a sparkling wine that’s truly enjoyable, approachable and palate pleasing.

Domaine Meriwether’s Celebration Cuvee Brut is produced in the Methode Champenoise style, and displays a beautiful pale golden color in the glass. Thousands of tiny bubbles stream upwards to the golden halo at the rim, and aromas of lemon-lime and green apples lure you in a for a taste. On the palate, green apples, fresh baked bread and spices are  delightfully light, refreshing and well balanced with bright acidity. Pop that cork and celebrate.
