Exploring France on a Budget: Domaine du Tariquet Taste the Terroir: A Vertical Tasting of Youngberg Hill Pinot Noirs
In The Glass: Montinore Borealis 2011
Wow, what an enjoyable wine! Alluring vibrant aromas of tropical fruits, Key Lime Pie and Apple Jolly Ranchers lead to mouthwatering, fruit forward similar flavors, ending in a clean, refreshing, dry and well balanced finish with a shot of lime zest. Borealis, The Northern Whites 2011 Willamette Valley white table wine, from Oregon’s Montinore Estate, is a blend of 38% Riesling, 24% Müller-Thurgau, 23% Pinot Gris and 14% Gewürztraminer. The label states, “A Wine To Light Up Your Night.” Indeed, I can’t agree more. Priced at $16 dollars, this is worth every penny.

I've been writing about wine for the South Willamette Wineries Association and Eugene Daily News. I relish in sharing my wine experiences while savoring every sip of every wine.
